Tierra Pointe is an 80-unit community comprised of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units in Karnes City, TX. Community amenities include a clubhouse with a community room, swimming pool, onsite laundry facility, fitness center, resident computer center with Internet access and playground. All units include range, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, central heat and air, window coverings, ceiling fans in living areas and bedrooms, full-size washer and dryer connections and private patio or balcony.  All units are cable and Internet ready.

Income qualifications: Eight (8) units are reserved for residents who make 30% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI,) fifty two (52) units are reserved for residents who make 50% or less of the AMI, sixteen (16) units are reserved for residents who make 60 % or less of the AMI, and four (4) units are priced at market rate. In Karnes City in 2023, 30% AMI for a family of 4 is $21,960, 50% AMI is $36,600, and 60% AMI is $43,920.

The property management company, NRP Management, also requires that each household have a monthly income that is at least two and a half times the amount of their monthly rent payment.

Tierra Pointe accepts Section 8 Housing Choice vouchers.

Resident Services Available:  Merced Housing Texas oversees the resident services implemented by the Community Manager.  Activities include basic adult education opportunities, home buyer education classes, financial planning assistance, health screening services, health and nutritional courses and youth programs. Merced produces a monthly newsletter for residents with information about upcoming events and community resources.
