What We Do: Multi-Family Program
At Merced, we believe that no one should pay an excessive portion of income for housing. Through our multifamily program, we provide affordable rents to low to moderate individuals and families.
We have developed 1,881 units of decent and safe multi-family housing units in San Antonio, Somerset, Corpus Christi, Conroe and Goliad, Texas.
Individuals and families who make 80% or less of the Area Median Income, (AMI) are eligible to live at our properties. 80% AMI for a family of four in San Antonio is $43,750 in 2009. For an individual it is $30,650.
In addition to affordable rents, Merced offers a Resident Services Program at each property which makes social services 
and supportive programs available to residents either on-site or through a referral system in an effort to improve residents’ quality of life and build healthy communities.
