Casitas de Villa Corona--A New Home for Seniors
Casitas de Villa Corona, an apartment community for very low-income seniors in the heart of San Antonio’s West Side at 339 SW 39th Street, will soon be ready for residents!
- To be eligible to live at Casitas, you must:
• Be 62 years of age or older
• Have an income of 50% or less of the Area Median income ($21,000 for a person living alone)

Merced's Multi-family Program
At Merced, we believe that no one should pay an excessive portion of income for housing. Through our multifamily program, we provide affordable rents to low to moderate individuals and families.
We have developed 1,604 units of decent and safe multi-family housing units in San Antonio, Somerset, Corpus Christi, Conroe, Karnes City, Fort Worth and Goliad, Texas, with 42 units under construction in San Antonio. Merced has been awarded a Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop another apartment community for very low-income seniors on San Antonio's East Side.
In addition to affordable rents, Merced offers a Resident Services Program at each property through which social services 
and supportive programs are available to residents on site at their apartment homes. Resident Services Coordinators and the Resident Services Manager also refer residents to a host of resources available to them in the greater community.
