How To Help

At Merced, we love to form the connecting link between people who care enough to help and those who need care.

Some ways you can help:

• Work with community members to plan and plant a community garden.

• Teach GED, ESL, or computer classes at one of our multifamily properties.

• Adopt an SOS home and enlist your coworkers to make emergency repairs for a senior in need. Members of the YouthBuild Program participate in the renovation of a home.

• Interact with children in after-school, school break, or summer recreation programs.

• Pitch in on a yard or block cleanup.

• Donate non-perishable foods for food pantries at our multifamily properties.

• Donate gently used school uniforms (khaki pants and white shirts) for children at our multifamily properties.

• Donate family-friendly books and videos for use at Merced’s multifamily properties.

• Use your imagination! If you have a talent to share, we probably have a use for it.
