Kahlil is not the only child who rushes to the community center after school. Eight-year-old Pauline and 10-year-old Jackie have made the community center at Avion Place Apartments their second home. The inseparable pair of friends are active participants in the after-school program and are also involved in the Girl Scouts.

Of all the activities available at Avion Place Apartments, Pauline said that the After School Program is her favorite. “We get to do activities about science. We learned about volcanoes and how they erupt.”
